I was born in 1979, at the beginning of the last decade of long-standing communism in Romania. Under the influence of my (only) SDA grand-mother, I was introduced to the SDA church at the age of 6, but it was only from 13 that I started attending the church regularly. At 17 years old, two important things happened: I lost my mother and I got baptized. The Lord really took over my life at a critical age. I then pursued my undergraduate theological training. Upon college graduation I became a pastor and worked in ministry for 6 years, during which I took an MAR program with Andrews University. Then I was called at Adventus University in Cernica to be a New Testament professor. For this purpose, I had to take doctoral studies, which I did at AIIAS, in the Philippines. I am currently serving as Professor of NT Studies and Rector at Adventus University in Cernica, Romania. Teaching and Research is what animates me the most. I authored four books and around 50 academic articles. My main interests are apocalyptic, Greek linguistics, and eschatology. I am married to Adelina and the proud father of Darius, a 14-year-old son. Not that I am something, but I would like to end by saying that without God I would have been nothing.
